TRIP TO VIETNAM:

Fantastic! What an eye-opener - what a landscape - what beautiful, happy friendly people! We had a sensational trip covering the north of Vietnam. Flew into Hanoi and spent several days living it up with the kids at the legendary Sofitel in the French Quarter, dining and enjoying the frantic buzz on the streets not to mention a few cheap cocktails! Especially loved getting around on the cyclo's - really felt part of the action.

Then ventured further north to Halong Bay for a few nights on a 'junk', which was absolutely stunning. The view was magical and appreciated first hand on Kayaks, trecking mountains and touring through the grotto's - if you've thought about doing it - seriously - do it!

The last few days were spent getting further into the villages spending time in Mai Chau and Ninh Binh eating in huts with the locals, walking through the rice fields and boating through caves. Here's a few happy snaps!
